Installation Instructions

Windows Windows Beta

  1. Download the .exe installer
  2. Run the installer
  3. Install .exe" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="text-cyan-400 hover:text-cyan-300 underline">Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable if not already installed

Windows may briefly show a SmartScreen prompt

The installer is signed under our verified identity - publisher reads Imperium42 LLC. Windows may still show a SmartScreen prompt for the first few hundred downloads while install reputation builds; click More info → Run anyway if you see it. This fades automatically.

Linux Linux/WSL2 Alpha

  1. Download the .AppImage
  2. Run: chmod +x echophrase.AppImage && ./echophrase.AppImage

Limitations

  • CPU only - GPU (CUDA) acceleration will arrive in a later release.
  • Global hotkey bindings are not yet available on Linux - use Open Mic mode instead (Settings > Audio Input).

Apple macOS Beta

  1. Download the .dmg
  2. Open it and drag Echophrase to your Applications folder
